Lean in close on this one;  I tend to whisper when I'm telling secrets.

We had five for a fab 15 on the Middle Fork Trail today ....... Colbs had to bail

at the last minute after he woke up feeling real lousy.  I haven't done this

Staley Creek Bridge to Paddy's Valley stretch in a long time.  I've run just a

few trails over the years.  Nothing anywhere beats this for pure beauty and variety.

The river alone is more than spectacular, and the trail along it is little used, but

very well kept.  I say this quietly ....... we don't want this to go too far.

We stayed pretty close together for the first two hours, then the Stark boys

drifted away, and Gene waited a bit for me, and Davey wasn't far behind.

We had a photo taken at Rigdon Meadow, with a stand in for Colby (lower left).

This is a 'long' 15 ....... I was  out for 3:39 total ..... we never really hurried.

For us, it was a great way to kick off our summer of 'adventure' runs.

One final note for the Colbs ......  back in town at 1:35.  Ya baby.
